DESCRIPTION:We are having open auditions for our production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It\, to be performed at the California Stage in February and early March of 2025 and produced by Ray Tatar! The production will include eight songs from Shakespeare’s original production of the play\, and a number of musicians will be integral members of the cast.\n\nEspecially needed are women actors with a strong background in Shakespeare. Rosalind\, the main character in the play\, is the largest female role in the Shakespearean canon\, and there are several other terrific roles for women as well.\n\nAuditions will be heldNovember 15 and 16\, from 12:00 noon until 5:00at the Three Penny Theater at the 25th and R complex.\n\nCall Steven Crain at 541-556-2661 for sign-ups. Drop-ins will also be welcome. Come with your own prepared monologue or music\, or be prepared for a cold reading.\n\nAudition Form
